Welcome to FitSafe, a quality mark for exercise providers in New Zealand related to health & safety for the end user/customers.

FitSafe is a partnership between the Exercise Association of New Zealand (ExerciseNZ) and Qualworx (a division of Skills Active Aotearoa).

The concept behind FitSafe is that it is an independent quality check of health & safety processes used by exercise providers in New Zealand as they related to the end customer.   It covers both legislative compliance (ie a review of practices that are required by law) as well as industry best practice (for example the use of AED devies in 24/7 operations).

This web site was developed in late 2017, and last updated in December 2017.  It is still being developed, and will be complete early in the new year.
